Youth is never spelled O-L-D, and so goes the word adventurous, playful, energetic, fun that backs up one of the most familiar terms in teenland and even to the twenty-somethings but most often overlook (sigh).
So, to be in this age group entails a lot of everything. Almost everything. You have the strength to go all out for an activity, be it indoor or outdoor, night in and night out. Your brain is peaking and learning just comes so handily. What I mean here is that our brains are receptive to new ideas and we can learn and understand them easily. Maybe, this is the reason why they want us to study and study while we are young. Going to many places, if many means a reasonable, big number, is like window shopping, we never get tired. Popular phrases also comes like "hanging out with friends", "party", "weekend retreat", "group outings", etc.
We have the widest range of age too. We can act as a child or and adult. Act here means having the same intensity, tenacity and attitude for the latter groups mentioned. A child can never be like us. An adult cannot imitate our enthusiasm and energy, they had theirs waning through age.
That's why, we could see how great we are having on this stage of our life. But being here doesn't mean we're a cut above the rest.
There's just one word often neglected by us, or often we forget. That is responsibility. We may have all the fun and excitement in the world, but what could push us to reach the utmost and ultimate celebration of happiness in our lives is in living a responsible, youthful life.
